Booking & Cancellation Policy
By booking an appointment, you agree to the terms of this policy:
The Maintenance Clinic Booking & Cancellation Policy
Effective from: 14th August 2025
Booking
All appointments must be booked through our online booking system: https://maintenanceclinic.aesthetidocs.app
A minimum £30 deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment.
Deposits are applied toward the total cost of your service.

Deposits
Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred once if you reschedule within the allowed notice period (see below).
If you fail to attend your appointment or cancel late, your deposit will be forfeited. Please refer to Cancellation & Rescheduling for full terms.

Cancellations & Rescheduling
We require at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
If less that 48 hours' notice is given, your deposit will be retained.
If you wish to reschedule, your deposit can be moved to a new appointment date once, provided notice is given.
If less notice is given, your deposit will be retained.

No-Shows
Failure to attend your appointment will result in the full treatment price being charged. Future bookings will require full payment upon booking.
Late Arrivals
Being more than 10 minutes late will result in your appointment being cancelled. This ensures adequate time for consultation and treatment.
Full treatment cost will be charged in the event of a late cancellation.

Consultations Required for Treatments Requiring Prescription-Only Medicines
Treatments involving prescription-only medicines, such as Botulinum Toxin (Botox), Hyaluronidase (filler dissolving) and Vitamin Injections, require a face-to-face consultation prior to treatment with our Prescribing Nurse.
Please ensure this consultation is booked in advance. Treatment cannot proceed without it.
Preparing for your Treatment
Some treatments require pre-appointment preparation. You will be made aware of any specific steps in advance.
Failure to follow these may result in your appointment being cancelled on the day.
Medical Conditions and Safety
All clients are expected to complete a medical questionnaire and disclose any relevant health conditions, medications, or allergies that may affect treatment.
This is essential to determine if a treatment is safe and appropriate for you.
Refusal of Treatment
The Maintenance Clinic reserves the right to refuse treatment at any time.
If medical conditions are not disclosed prior to or during consultation and they affect your suitability for treatment, we may cancel the appointment and charge the full treatment cost or the deposit, as applicable.
We will always assess if a treatment is right for you and explain clearly if we believe it is unsuitable.
Feeling Unwell
Do not attend if you are unwell. Many treatments are contraindicated if you have:
-
Started antibiotics or steroids
-
A cold, fever, or cold sore
-
Any infection, especially near the treatment area
The Booking & Cancellation Policy will still apply in the event of appointment rescheduling or cancellation due to illness.
If in doubt, contact The Maintenance Clinic in advance for advice.
Aftercare
By agreeing to treatment, signing your consent form, and accepting these terms, you agree to follow the aftercare instructions provided for your procedure.
These will be explained in-person at your appointment.
A written copy will be emailed to you after the appointment.

Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.
Gift vouchers can not be redeemed for cash and hold no cash value.
Gift vouchers can be used for products and services only.
Any remaining balance will be held as credit on your patient record for use at your next visit.
